Quality recording doesn't have to be expensive. Nor is it reserved for the famous. Whether you are looking to record a demo, an EP or a full blown album, Locrian Records can offer you competitive rates to enable you to complete your project within your budget.

Studio Hire Rates Hourly rate = $35 inc GST Daily rate (8 hours)= $200 per day inc GST ****NEW**** $100 Day ( 9 am - 2 pm or 10 am - 3 pm) Monday to Thursday

Would you like the complete CD package including graphics artwork, booklets, inlays and CDs ready for sale? At Locrian Records we can provide quality recording packages to suit all ages and musical levels - from the young garage band, to the seasoned classical performer to world released artists. Have a look at our examples below and see what may suit your recording needs or ambitions.

Current recording packages include:

Professional Weekend CD Package 16 hours studio recording (Saturday / Sunday), mixing, mastering and graphic layout, 40 burnt CDs with full colour on disc printing, four page full colour booklet, double sided insert, jewel case and clear tray. CDs will be ready to sell by the end of the following week. Package would suit a four piece band (drums, guitars, bass, vocals) to record an EP of 4 songs; a "non drum kit" band may get 6 to 7 songs recorded. * Client to provide artwork and photos. - 16 hours recording and 40 CDs all for $600 inc GST

Professional 35 hour CD Package 35 hours studio recording, mixing, mastering and graphic layout, 100 burnt CDs with full colour on disc printing, four page full colour booklet, double sided insert, jewel case and clear tray plus website Package would suit a four piece band (drums, guitars, bass, vocals) to record a CD of 7 to 8 songs; a "non drum kit" band may get 12 songs recorded. * Client to provide artwork and photos. - 35 hours recording and 100 CDs all for $1,275 inc GST

Professional 100 hour CD Package 100 hours recording ( either studio or on location) , mixing, mastering and graphic layout, 500 commercially pressed CDs with full colour on disc printing, four page full colour booklet, double sided insert, jewel case and clear tray plus website Package would suit a five piece band (drums, guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals); choirs; classical artists to record a full length CD of 60 minutes * Client to provide artwork and photos. - 100 hours recording and 500 CDs all for $2,760 inc GST
